Cramer vs. Stewart Duke It Out…And It’s A Thing Of Beauty

Cramer vs. Stewart. I’m so glad this happened.

Vodpod videos no longer available.

Jon Stewart does such an amazing job with the Daily Show, and while I realize that it’s the format of the show + the nature of Comedy Central that allow it to be what it is, I sometimes feel like he’s wasting significantly greater talents (could he be the next Plouffe or Axelrod but HILARIOUS?). I hope that at least either he or Stephen Colbert soon makes an irreverent feature-length docucomedy. Or they could make one TOGETHER. And Tina Fey. Is that too much politihumor in one place?

More analysis on the actual clip to come later…

Romney-Palin-Huckabee: Now THAT’S the ticket!

Tom Bevan over at RealClearPolitics reports:

A CNN/Opinion Research Corporation poll conducted on February 18-19 among 429 Republicans shows Sarah Palin with a slight edge over Mike Huckabee and Mitt Romney as the preferred GOP nominee for 2012:

Alaska Governor Sarah Palin 29%
Former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee 26%
Former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney 21%
Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal 9%
Someone else 10%
None/no one 4%
No opinion 2%

Republican men split more or less evenly among the top three choices, but Palin has a double digit lead among GOP women, winning 32% to Huckabee’s 22% and 20% for Romney.

Let’s get in the time machine and take a little trip back, back, back:
